In July 2016, CeC installed three Solar Kits and introduced Glass PV modules made in Germany (265 Wp each). They were installed on a pergola, allowing 15% light penetration. This is the first installation of its kind in Lebanon.
Cenpro Energy Co. signed on July 10th, 2015 an agreement with FRIEM the Italian inverter manufacturer, whereby Cenpro Energy becomes the agent of FRIEM in Lebanon.
Since 1950 FRIEM has manufactured and installed over 2000 High Power Converters, providing more than 50 million Amps Worldwide. In 2009 FRIEM started the production of the ReCon Line, a complete line of Inverters for the Renewable Energies, becoming one of the main manufacturers in Italy and in the World. Models Available: from 2,5 kWp to 1,3 MWp for single unit.
FRIEM has high engineering and design capabilities. They can customize the inverters to meet the client requirements. In addition, they have a long reference list in Italy and worldwide.
Cenpro Energy Co. will provide the local support and after sale services for FRIEM products in Lebanon.
CeC-SB Solar joint venture is pleased to announce that it has been prequalified for DREG project with UNDP for the Design, supply and installation of decentralized photovoltaic systems starting at 50 Kw.
The Project briefing extracted from DREG request for Expression of Interest (EOI) is provided hereunder
“The Small Decentralized Renewable Energy Power Generation Project, also known as DREG or the DREG Project, is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The project is nationally executed by the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) with the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC).
The project will catalyze the development of the small, decentralized, grid-connected renewable energy (RE) power generation market in Lebanon. The target is to facilitate the installation of at least 1.75 MW of new decentralized RE power generation capacity during the lifetime of the project, which would reduce approximately 35,500 tonnes of C02eq in green house gas emissions (GHG).
The DREG Project aims at implementing model RE demonstration projects —– for private businesses and industrial complexes, universities, tourist resorts, bakeries, etc., all of which depend on continuous and reliable electricity supply.”
The JV of CeC-SB Solar is ready to work with the eligible clients and offer to them optimized PV system solutions that meet their requirement, the National Grid conditions and minimize the use of Diesel Generators.
Atef Mourad President of Cenpro Energy Co and Fares Zankoul Executive Director of Cenpro Energy Co attended the Inter Solar Exhibition in Munich on 11 and 12 June 2015.
The Earth receives an incredible supply of solar energy. The sun, an average star, is a fusion reactor that has been burning over 4 billion years. It provides enough energy in one minute to supply the world’s energy needs for one year. In one day, it provides more energy than our current population would consume in 27 years. In fact, “The amount of solar radiation striking the earth over a three-day period is equivalent to the energy stored in all fossil energy sources.”
